Abstract
Economists have questioned Asia’s ability to sustain growth. In this article, the author shows why it is very likely that growth will resume in the region. Among other factors, he points to the East Asian ability - demonstrated throughout decades of economic strength - to exploit (a) labor; (b) education (elsewhere expressed as "human capital"); (c) capital; and (d) productivity.
"East Asia must implement a radical shift of corporate values and strategies to recover from the ongoing crisis."
