Fostering successful R&D collaboration in Asia

Abstract
This article provides alternative models for R&D collaborations and business development between industrialized nations and developing countries in Asia. It recommends increased interaction between research institutes across national boundaries and establishment of regional research institutes.
Future collaboration with Asia must adopt an international perspective, with emphasis being placed firmly on coexistence and mutual prosperity.
