Abstract
This article outlines some of the general forces which are improving the access to capital for small-to-medium size enterprises (SME's), drawing from the changing investment climate in Australia. The benefits of Exempt Markets, a capital market innovation, are described at some length. The article provides some tips for technology-based companies to consider before approaching potential investors.
