Toward a dynamic model of product innovation for high-tech small firms - review

François Thérin
Grenoble Ecole de Management, Grenoble, France

Abstract

This paper presents a review of innovation literature relevant for the study of product innovation processes for high-tech small firms. It is organized around the factors studied and frameworks used (static and congruistic models of innovation) and concludes by suggesting an integrative dynamic approach to studying innovation processes.

This paper is useful for managers who want to have a understanding of innovation in small high-tech firms and for researchers who begin a research on that topic.
