Abstract

This paper describes preliminary results from a research programme that examines how Internet-enabled mobile devices can be used to better facilitate wireless mobile collaboration.

In particular, the paper reports a case study in which a group of graduate students used Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) enabled mobile phones to explore the nature of Mobile Internet Meetings (M-meetings).

Even though the case study involved graduate students, we believe the results have implications for busy business executives and there are a number of issues and challenges that must be addressed before business teams can adopt M-meetings.
